I'm looking for some yard boots that I could also ride in, ideally with a steel toe cap, any suggestions? I quite liked the Mountain Horse ones for £56 but they're a bit expensive, and I've just seen my bank statement! What do you all recommend?

I love my rubber muck boots. If you are wanting them for yard dutys they are great as they don't perish with the ammonia etc from the stables. They are also warm in winter and of course waterproof - which is a must for my muddy yard. They are easy to clean in a puddle before jumping on board - look reasonably respectable but not as smart as leather boots. Mine last me at least 2 years where as leather boots lasted about 6 months.

ariats all the way soooo comfy and last for ever I would go for the endurance boots think they are called terrain h20's picked mine up from a liquidation sale for £35

I love my Mountain Horse steel toecap boots, look like hiking boots but they have really worn well and are very very comfortable! AND they were second hand when I bought them!! Good round the yard and for riding in.
