Hmmm.... last year I applied for BETA tickets, however I hadn't realised it was a trade show so as a member of Joe-public I was refused tickets. Fair enough. However, THIS year I got two emailed bar code free tickets and wonder if there has been a mistake. I'd like to go, but I don't want to be walking around if my husband and I are the only non-trade people there. Anyone else going or been sent tickets?

sadly trade only, at the main desk you would have to tell them what kind of equestrian business you are as they give you badges to wear. This is so the exhibitors know which company they are talking to.

I'm going on Monday, yes it's trade only.
There's nothing really to buy there like a ordinary show, you meet your suppliers and customers, negotiate deals and if you are lucky get some freebies.
There's good shows on throughout the day too and demonstrations.
New products can be seen from all over the world.
Were you expecting a normal sort of horse show with retail stands?
Oz

No, Oz.... I was hoping it was a bit more technical than that... almost a behind-the-scenes kind of thing - not the all-singing/all-dancing stands you see at the likes of big shows and YHL. And maybe new innovations and things that will be launched this year. I don't have any money to spend anyway, I just like to look, ask and learn. But totally understand that it is in-house, so to speak. Oh well......
