Set up the CCTV today, (can't believe how clear it is!) and have created a "home from home" in the tack room, with camp bed, reading light, supplies of tea and coffee - AND (for those 3 am moments when panic might be setting in or its time to celebrate!) a supply of Whisky Mac!! (I'm not usually found glugging the hard stuff in the early hours, just felt I might need it!)
So now all there is to do is wait ... I know from Becki and Hannah's experience this is the hardest bit. Beth is pretty big, her tum has dropped, with a very active foal kicking mightily, and the muscles around her tail have started to soften. She has also started to bag up. She's due May 5th, but I'm betting on the foal coming earlier, especially with the fine weather. Keep your fingers crossed for a grey filly!
