Betsy moved on to her new home today, seems a nice place with lovely people - I left her there surrounded by about 10 admirers all queuing up to scratch her scratchy spots and generally fuss over her! They'll spend a couple of weeks getting to know her, then go out and do some BSJA and dressage, and hopefully be out BE by April or thereabouts. She'll be registered BE as Betsy Boo! Which is what I always called her anyway. So anyway - for all my doubters - yah boo sucks

! Not only did I sell a horse, I even made a little profit

ETS - here is one of my favourite pictures of her:

Ahh bless!! So glad that you found her a good home. Will definately keep an eye out for her- will be interesting to see how she does!
She really wouldve been my perfect type of horse I will have to enlist you as my agent next time I go horse hunting!

Oi, I did that the other day when I sold F for a quid! (And yes, she was true to her word and sent me a pound coin taped to my christmas card!). L may well find himself at Reading sales if he carries on trying to dump me

2008 - no probs, I'm great at spending other people's money!

I just had a lovely email off her saying she'd behaved well in her new home and there was a photo of them together with B sticking her tongue out! One thing I'm sure of, she'll be spoilt rotten!

So a trip to the next Malvern sales? or are you hoping to fill the space before then?
Mind you with the prices of intermediates think you might need to start saving!

That's alright - might not even register BE this year, hoping to move abroad within the next few months really! Will have to see how things pan out with S' work. Where we're off to you pay a one-off fee to register each horse and it covers that horse in every discipline for life!!! Think it works out at about £80...

There are some 3yo's I've got my eye on though I have to say...

Damn Europe and its efficiency and low costs! How good would that be having all 3 covered by one fee and best of all for life. Makes me weep yearly membership fees and I do not do BD either.
