Hi Folks

As some of you already know and have seen Louisa was born on Friday 6th August after making us wait for what seemed an awfully long timeboth mare and foal are doing well although I have to say mum gave me a bit of a scare as she was careering round the field every five minutes before her waters broke at 8.02 am Louisa was then born 10 minutes later hope you like her xxx

Sorry if there are too many pics and I hope this has worked please let me know what you think of her she felt rain for the first time yesterday and she was bucking and kicking very funny to watch.xxx Morgan

Bless love the first picture she is same shape as mum, very nice. Your mare is quite similar to Mrs Magoo's that we have on loan. All the very best well worth the wait. Congrats. x

Ps want your grass.

Thanks simsar this mare is on loan as she had been bought to do small show hacks but kept disuniting in canter and then exploding making her totally unrideable, anyway as she was only 7 and well bred her owner wanted her to have a future doing something else and thankfully she is being a really good mum. Any ideas of a show name for her as her mum is called Orions Diva and dad is Freckleton Extrovert wanted the name to reflect both somehow but everryone said my name was too long TMS Extrovert's Shooting Star what do you think xx

Aw she is gorgeous congratulations. I love those first few mins when they are trying to figure out how their legs work!

Hi
She went to the Royal vet college where they did extensive x-rays and such like when she was with her owner they apparently said she would always be 2/10ths lame although she has never been lame a single day whilst she has been with us although she isn't asked to do anything. She is a very happy mare but I think temprament was a bit of an issue also and she would not do the job they intended her for so got loss of use on her, she is only a small mare but complements the stallion quite well he is approx 16hh with a fantastic temprament, movement and scopey jump so will keep her and see what happens, its not worth even thinking of selling at the mo and I like doing the youngsters so its a win win really.

xx morgan

your filly is lovely and your grass amazing! I think we have maybe mentioned previously in another post but my colt's dad (freckleton enchilada) and your filly's dad (freckleton extrovert)are half brothers!
