Betty progress update

Betty is doing much better than she was.

I had restricted her exercise as much as possible: meaning she was only getting about 10 mins a day lead walks.

She is now down to one anti inflamatory per day and I have slowly increaced her lead walks, and she is totally sound (ever after doing the wall of death around the house last night...

Her t4 levels are stable and at a high enough level now, so she is to sat on 2x soloxine tabs per day.

Fingers crossed she stays sound.

Yeah!!! go Betty! Can not say I'd be thrilled if mine had to be on restricted exercise!!!!

Great news, that sounds like excellent progress. I bet you and she are pleased you have increased the exercise.

Thanks Guys! The 10 mins walk a day was TOUGH going!! but I had to just suck it up! It seems to have made all the difference. She has now learned to go poopies in the garden... a good thing on one hand, but I quite liked my poo free garden! She still only does it if she has no choice, but is more willing to let go now!

Fingers crossed along with yours that we've got it sorted now. She still has another week or two (need to count the tabs) of anti inflamatories, so we'll see how she goes then.
