Yeah, we walk past that grit bin twice a day, she just suddenly stopped and was (as you say!) determined to get inside! Some lovely person has seen fit to deposit household rubbish in there.
Made me laugh though! The lid is pretty heavy! No problem for a bulldog nose! Funny mutt.

Betty's got staying power! This was the third video... she was at it before I got my phone out, then had another two unsuccessful lifts before she got her head in! The reward of a half eaten prawn sandwich is incentive enough for her...!
