Bewildering choice of reversing cameras!

Any tips - I just want to be able to see what I am doing to hook up and will need one that works in the dark as we often set off at silly o'clock for eventing. Compatible with a VW Toureg. I assume it uses the charging sockets in the car? I would hook up then unplug to plug in my phone for google maps so needs to be easy to plug in and out.

Any recommendations? Huge price range too - £30 up to £150+ What does paying more get you?
