Bhs exam results.

Hi all,
I took a bhs exam on Thursday morning but I’m just wondering if it’s likely that the results will take 10 days to arrive?
Has anybody received them sooner?
I appreciate I’m being rather impatient but I’m just really desperate to pass.

They arrive when they arrive. It depends on the burden on the admin office, how many took exams in the same region in the same week and how quick the examiner is to write things up. Sorry - you just need patience with horses - and with BHS exams!

It really depends - my stage 1 results took the full 10 working days to arrive, my stage 2 was back in a week What exam were you doing? Hope it all went well!

It was stage one I did but I have already started the stage 2 training so I’m hoping that I pass so I can book my exam before it gets booked up.

I made one silly mistake in the ridden section which was annoying.
I was supposed to do a half circle and then join lead file but instead the ride went past me so I had to circle again.

They won't fail you for that as long as you were safe and followed the rules of the school

Ten working days is the norm.

Don't do what I did and take an exam before two bank holidays earlier this year.

I took an exam last year and waited over 2 weeks for the results. When I phoned to chase it up they wouldn't tell me the results over the phone and just said wait for the post to arrive! I passed, but it was quite a frustrating experience waiting so long, as I'd taken several exams before and had the results back in about a week.

I waited about 2 weeks for each one, you won’t fail for a small mistake as long as what you did to correct is was done in a safe way x

Blimey how things have changed. Did mine in the 90s and got my results and feedback that day.

I would have loved that, the only one I got same day was the teaching exam x

They used to give all results on the day but had to stop as people that failed were threatening/being abusive to examiners! That said they must have changed system again as the ones I did early 2000's they would post results to you on leaving the venue. If they got last post they would come next day. If not then day after was very relieved when my stage 4 cert arrived morning after the exam as was very nervous about that one.

it was fairly ugly at my stage 3 (1998? something like that). 19 of us. called in one ny one for results. my last name begins with R so I was pretty much last. Obvious that everyone had failed because they came back in crying and/or holding a fail certificate. I'd resigned myself to failing and was looking in the book for other dates to retake. Got called in "you're the only one who passed. Well done). Well. what to do! Snuck out the back door if I' honest. felt awful for the rest.
