Basically as the title. Housemate is taking stage two in a few months and is wondering what the rules are on having lessons at the centre you are taking your test at before the test.

I know with the PC you can't have lessons at the Centre you take your A at for at least 3 months before but I didn't know if this is the same for the BHS!?

It's fine to have lessons at your exam centre for Stage 2 but you have to declare yourself as an internal candidate, for fairness to externals.

Pretty sure that's always been the case. I know someone who took it ages ago. I think the "cool off period" as such as a couple of months. (which is a bit of a farse really in my opinion, you still know the horses!)

Well, when I did mine more than a half of the candidates knew the horses and commented on which they would most like to ride at which section...I thought it was rather unfair. As far as I know you can train and be tested at the same centre up to the Stage 4.
