just a quick Q really, im starting work as a working Pupil on an event yard this week and just wondering if my BHS Gold insurance still covers me?

The yard should have employers liability insurance that will cover you as a WP.
If you ring the BHS though they will clarify what your Gold membership insurance will cover you for under those circumstances.
