So I'm not joining pony club next year as we can't afford it and there's not much point now I'm going on livery and I'm working there too. So i was thinking of joining BHS junior, and might as well go for the gold so i can possibly do some stage exams later, and for the insurance.

Is it worth joining, whats everyones experiences? :)

Not only do you get 3rd party public liability insurance cover, a free legal help-line and a monthly magazine but you are also contributing to an equine charity that covers horse care and welfare, road safety, public rights of way, training, and an organisation that represents horse riders when negotiating with local authorities and central government.

Add to the above, 10% discount at their bookstore, free RIHS ticket, access to a local committee with reps helping deal with access, welfare, training and safety issues.
