BHS Records?

Probably in the wrong bit, but noone seems to go into the Career room.

Does the BHS keep records of people who've passed their exams? eg if I wanted to see if someone had passed a stage would they have a record and would they tell me?

You can find out which instructors are registered on the website but I doubt they will release information to you (about someone else's exams) due to the data protection act.

A good question.
I think, under Data Protection, that they wouldn't be permitted to give you results from Stages exams for other people, only yourself.
If someone is listed on the instructors' register, however, you would be able to check that very easily online.
Remember, just because someone isn't registered, doesn't mean they haven't passed the exams.

Hi Ring the BHS and ask them, they might not tell you but they might investigate this person themselves as they are very hot on non qualified people abusing the exam system. Good luck

I'm sure that there was an article on checkig qualifications in one of last years BHS member's magazine and I remember the general idea was that you could ring them and check. Can't remember the details, it may have just been instructors rather than stages exams though. Worth a look back if you have the magazines at all
