Hi,
I would like some advice about the Emergency dismount please. I understand that the right stirrup goes over first, followed by the left. Is the reason for crossing the stirrups over to keep the horse safer if it bolts off and to prevent entanglement or the stirrups banging against the side of the horse? Or is it about being an easier and safer way to dismount for the rider or both? I cannot find this information anywhere on the internet
Thanks very much in advance.
