BHS Stage 1 venues help

Hi everyone,

I am an adult rider looking to take my BHS Stage 1 at the beginning of next year. I have been doing alot of research into the different riding establishments offering Stage 1 courses. I have found a few that I really like the look of and I am wondering if anyone on here has had any exeperiences at any of them:

Berkshire College of Agriculture - Maidenhead
Oaklands College - St Albans
Lee Valley Park - Leyton
Writtle College - Chelmsford Essex
Sparsholt College - Hampshire

I know they are all in completely different areas, but i'm quite happy to travel to any of them.

Any insight you could offer me particularly around the type of horses used for the stage 1 at these venues would be great. Or if you have ridden at any of these before either for a lesson or your BHS Stages I would appreciate any information you can offer me.
