BHS stage 2 and PTT

iv got my stage two and to be honest i dont think i learnt one thing from it! so i didnt bother doing stage 3, it depends what you want it for as most groom jobs dont go for someone with stages they go for experiance! but if you dont have yard experiance then i would do it as you could learn from it if that makes sense?
im sure other people have a different opinion. :D:D

I'm working towards PTT but went down the Pony Club route so didn't do BHS stages I found its cheaper this way and you get a lot of support through the pony club so if your old enough to do this then its better cost wise.

As for BHS exams I've heard a lot of complaints about biased examining.

I have found what I have done so far through PC has helped a lot in everyday horse life and has actually made me a bit more confident meeting new people as I had to be talkative whilst in the exams also has helped me when lookign for a new horse.

I'm guessing if your doing PTT you want to be an instructor? If this is the case then BHS stages are probably best way to get into it or your UKCC is also good :)

See I work with horses and own a horse too, at the moment I have NVQ2 in horse care and management, which helped me get the job as it showed that I have some horsey knowledge!! Now just want to further my career really. Thank you for your opinions! :)
