Can anyone help me please ... Got a bhs stage 2 riding exam tomorrow... Does anyone know if you have to use two different whips I got one for jumping but my one for flatwork is over the maximum 39" . Can I just use a 31" for the flatwork ....

I was told literally two days or so before my exam that I had to have both a long and a short whip. I had both with me but if I recall only used my short whip. When I did my stage three I had both again and ended up only using the short; passed both first time. As long as you show you know how to use them appropriately and safely (in stage three the horse I had shot off when you crossed the whip over his withers - no way was I changing a long whip over!) they'll mark you appropriately.
