Does anyone know whether you can go straight in and do your stage 2 or even 3 without doing the previous stages? Also what about the ride and road safety?
Or regardless of your ability and experience do you need to start at BHS stage 1?
Anyone who knows i would appreciate an understanding of how the system works! Thanks

you have to do your stage 1 before your stage 2 or you can do riding tests - i dont know much about these im sure someone else can tell you

. Before stage 2 you have to have taken your riding and road safety. Stage 1 is walk trot and canter

If you have Pony Club B test and are still a member of the PC you can go straight to do Stage 3, otherwise you have to start at Stage 1. You have to do your R&RS in any event, and if you are doing all the stages it has to be passed before you attempt Stage 2.

It's a bit expensive having to do all the Stages, but tbh it gives you a good idea of the exam system and if you are above the level then at least it is less stressful!

You have to do the r+rs before you can do the stage 2 riding. I'm pretty sure you have to start at stage 1, unless you have another qualification that is regarded as being the same level, maybe nvq, something like that
