BHS statement

Two vets must have seen Catwalk given what the BHS and Mr P's vet statement says.

On the original thread, one eyewitness cited reporting this to the BHS and a vet was called who said the horse could not be used for further demonstrations (there was then a whole load of discssion about whether he was planned to be used in further demonstrations).

The BHS have confirmed this - a vet was called who said no further demos. The BHS representative was not representing BHS Welfare but was a BHS representative.

Mr P's veterinary report says the examination took place the following day and no recommendation was made to withdraw the horse from further demonstrations. In fact, Mr P's vet (apparently the Chief Veterinary Officer of the FOTH) makes no mention of the future activity of the horse. Mr P himself has posted that he then went on to work with Catwalk for a futher 7 hours in private (presumably sharing his sandwich with Catwalk during this time).

The BHS statement clearly contradicts Mr P's statement.

So, two official/public statements - both saying very different things.

Think parelli could do themselves a big favour and release more footage of catwalks avancement. What they nhave given is not enough to appease most.

surely now people can see things more clearly- i mean theres nothing 'new' about this type of 'NH'- in fact its a step back into the dark ages of tying down and sacking out.
i hope the investigation finds the truth out....
