BHS XC Championships????

What is this?

After tracing an old owner of pickles (thanks to javajane)

He said in 2002 pickle qualified for the BHS XC championships, he competed in the open class of 3ft6-3ft9 and came 5th

Can anyone shed any light what this event is? and where I can find any info possibly video of it????????

Sorry not much help but...
Mouse qualified last year, i think it something the BHS do every year, I just entered a Hunter Trail which happened to be a qualifier, you have to be a BHS member to qualify as well, i didn't go to the finals as it was miles away and she isn't the best traveler and i felt it would be unfair on her.

Could you look on the BHS website for info and maybe pictures from past years

They dont generally video it but you may be able to find out from the venue if there was a photographer there? It is held at Eland Lodge near Derby at the moment but not sure where it was held in 2002!

My friend competed there last year!

Its run on bogey times usually but open is fairly challenging course so your neddy did very well!

I did a BHS XC qualifer about 5 years ago, but the open was only about 1 metre, which is what it states on the BHS site so not sure about it being 3'6 / 3'9?!
