Ok, I'm not going to go into detail about this. But lets just say I know someone who tells people she is an AI, when in fact has told a friend (after knowing her as an AI for a good few years) "oh I didn't do the exam because it was so expensive...". This person is a compulsive liar who has been in trouble with the law before, and I believe she is in trouble again, but can't be certain.

I just wondered what can you do in a situation like this?? Can the BHS do anything? This person is not practicing as such, but occasionally dabbles. But that's what I'm worried about really!!

Any advice would be appreciated. Thank you.

I would have thought the BHS would and should be able to do something about people posing to be qualified instructors when they aren't! Have a word with them and see what they suggest.

Thanks, I think I'll give them a ring tomorrow. I just imagine they can only warn her about doing it, as obviously she can't be struck off, lol! Just wondering if anyone knew of a similar situation, as I'd never heard of it happening before, but I'm sure it must have!

Ive heard of it and reported it to my BHS instructor. The problem actually lies with the clients as the instructor will have no compulsory first aid training and poss no insurance.
