Big Bucks 17th Straight Win

Fantastic horse, he made it look so easy, and afterwards he didn't look like he'd run a race at all!

Lovely to see Ruby giving him a big pat coming over the line :D

That was a wonderful race, and a well deserved win.
He made it look so much easier than he did at Cheltenham didn't he?
Shame Smad Place came down though, that might have livened things up a bit.

Big Buck's is simply amazing - he always wins by JUST enough, never lengths and lengths, just enough... But he doesn't need to do any more than that :)!

My Dad called me Thursday evening and mentioned Big Buck's getting his 17th win, and said "I heard on the radio that they were so impressed with him breaking the record with his 17th win that they've given him the whole of the summer off!" - didn't have the heart to tell him that is because the National Hunt season has finished!

The one thing that I love about Big Bucks and his victories is that when Inglis Dreaver won his 3rd World Hurdle they said there would never be another triple winner. He was unique, one of a kind and a monster. Well what went and happened the very next year and every year since? Big Bucks!

Don't get me wrong, I loved Inglis Dreaver but I do laugh at the racing critics now for what they said then.

Have you seen the thread on jumping for fun regarding Big Buck's going pointing/ Hunter chasing??!!! I hope not!
(Unless I got the ride :P )

I think someone is taking the micky lol! I haven't read the thread, I only go on there to catch up with results but may go and have a sneaky wee looksee just now now that you have mentioned it!

I've just read the thread and it did make me giggle! EVen if BB did fumble his way over each and every fence he would still win by a country mile! Baggsy I'm getting the ride!!!!!

Nah I think he will be retired to the hunting field, the Stewarts don't let their legends fall by the wayside.
