Big Equestrian Events - Bandminton, Hoys, Olympia...

I am pretty sad and like to 'plan' my trips away rather early!! I only tend to go to a few of the 'main' equestrian events each year - normally Bramham, Great Yorkshire, badminton, Hoys and sometimes Olympia -

What else would you suggest putting into my calander for next year? Like watching everything (showing,byeh, eventing,BSJA, Dressage) so i am open to ideas - Also love the places with loads of shopping!!

Burghley, Blenheim, RIHS, Your Horse Live, Hickstead Derby.

Burghley is brilliant! If I could only go to one event a year I think I'd pick burghley.

I like Blair, lovely area, lots of big names and HOYS qualifiers in the showing

Gatcombe. Very friendly, much smaller scale than Badminton and Burleigh and a great day out. You can sit on the hillside and see 5 or 6 jumps from your picnic rug and wine cooler - always a massive plus

Royal Windsor - particularly as the Queen's Diamond Jubilee next year so extra events planned. Not huge amount of shops but quality jumping and showing and a lovely setting.

Royal Welsh if you like Welsh ponies and big agricultural shows.
