Big horse in a single trailer?

Looking to downsize my trailer as Ive downsized my car (long story and taking a garage to court) so driving a Tiguan and planning on sticking with that. Have a HBX511 and just feels a lot of trailer to only take one out. Mine is a 16.2 maxi cob/ID in a 7' rug... Will get fit ok in a single and any pref on cheval v ifor? X

If you're set on a single trailer than I would go with a cheval mare and foal trailer, wider than an ifor 401/403 and taller than a bateson derby, plenty of room for a big maxi cob while still being within your braked tow capacity
