My friend needs help schooling and seeling her big irish 17.3hh gelding, hes 9yrs, a good riding club type.
For various reasons she cant ride at the moment and needs him schooling and wants me to sell hi (she will treat me for selling him ;))

but im going to be looking after him till he sells and dont want to get "lumbered" with him for months!!

Do you think big horses sell easy. Hes a good genuine horse. Hed make a nice hunter :)

I don't see why he shouldn't sell :D.

I think that for a lot of people it will be how he is to handle on the ground and how polite he is when asked to stop, and whether he is spooky or not. Plus what he's like loading/farrier/vet.

Any issue re. the above and that's a lot of horse to control :).

I think at that height your market is much more restricted as not many people around say 5.5" etc would look at something at that height. However if he is geniune, maybe focus on tall boys etc?!
