Bigger width stirrups?

Hi All,

I have a pair of ariat glaciers (winter grasmeres!) and they are brill! However, they don't leave much room in the stirrup and after having to make a tactical exit from a friends horse last week, I was reminded of the fact I should get some bigger stirrups...

Any suggestions? Preferably cheapish as they are only for winter hacking. I wear half chaps and jodh boots for anything else.

I have these boots and not had a problem in my stirrups I think they come in different widths though so maybe I have a big width?!

Thorowgood Tuff Adult stirrup irons are 4.75" & cost under £12.00. You don't say what size your current irons are?

Oops, just seen this reply, I have the Throwgood Tuff ones and they are snug in them. I have big feet.
The only bigger ones I can think of off the top of my head are the sprenger ones in mens width but obviously they are pricey - I was wondering if anyone had any cheaper alternatives?

I have Korsteel ones in 5" for my winter boots.

Cheap, nice looking and good quality.
