Can I be greedy as i've got a few?!

Buying Betty and getting to grips with her as she is much bigger than anything i've ever had before.

has to be coming first in three consecutive dressage competitions at the yard, felt amazing as some of the horses and rider combo's i was competiting against had been out competing in novice tests for over a year at unaffiliated, and taz hadnt done much on the dressage side and we won! :D

Riding again! I had to stop riding in April due to serious Illness. I was in hospital from July to beginning of November but got to ride again for the first time in October culminating in me buying the Big Bad Basil! (who is neither big nor bad)

It was a massive achievement for me to get well enough to ride again & although I am back in hospital for a 2nd course of treatment now, i should be allowed home most weekends to ride.

Getting over my huge confidence meltdown and actually enjoying riding again.
Also getting Koko from a nervous horse who would stop at anything scary to a very confident jumper getting double clears in BS :D

well done everyone :)

both babies are sooo cute, but as i have a soft spot for coloureds -runs away to steal small coloured baby in dog coat when no one is looking- :O :D

Please can I have 2???
I have never been very brave jumping (or even riding) and had always ridden cobs until I stopped riding to have my eldest daughter who is now 4

My VERY best achievement was riding a warmblood mare round a 2ft6 course in a team at Weston Lawns at only the 3rd show I had ever taken her too

My next best achievement is breaking in my first ever horse and him turning out to be a little angel!

My butterflies and sick feeling have magically disappeared too (which I suppose could be an achievement in its own right)

Its all thanks to my very best friend who has a wealth of knowledge and horses and is amazing x x

My biggest achievements of 2010:
- bringing on a 5 yr old pony.
-taking part in the Fife Pony class at the Fife show and placing 6th with the 5yr old.
-coming first in a 65cm class with the same pony.
-jumping a course of 1.05/1.10m on a friends horse
-jumping 1m60 crosspole
-taking part in a chase me charlie
-finally getting my first horse
-jumping my new horse for the first time (Jester hasn't jumped for years)

thats all my main ones that i remember and i hope 2011 brings much more for me :)

increasing my dressage score over 10% through out the year. This was my first year at attempting dressage on, shall we say, not the easiest horsie to ride, bless him. Soo pleased. Also won the trophy at my riding club for most improved dressage. Two other lovely awards for overall 3rd in intro dressage challange and 6th in prelim dressage challange. (how did i manage that !) Have never ever done dressage before and must say that I am quite enjoying having a go at it.

A controlled dressage test in a snaffle! This time last year my aim at dressage was above 55%, now it's unusual for us to get below 65%. In this particular test we won it with 78.5% AND we got a 10 for the last movement! :D
