I know a couple of you are interested and those I can remember I have PMd, but if anyone else is interested in a SJ lesson with Bill we are trying to organise a date now. It is likely to be in Gloucestershire very near (but not at) Summerhouse, mid to end of Feb on a Saturday. Date not yet confirmed but I am trying to gauge interest in a general sense first - details to follow if there is enough interest.

So if anyone is interested, all levels catered for, please could you either reply here or PM me (or both!!).

Thankyou!

Umm, quite interested, depends on the format though. i have no idea if my mare will turn into a fruitloop if there are lots of other horses whizzing around her, so would be more interested in a solo lesson if pos. haven't seen Bill for ages, and have never had a lesson with him, god knows why not though!

There is other stuff with him much, much closer to you and he does stuff at his yard which is also way closer to you! Format with Bill is always negotiable

Tends not to be lots of whizzing - max 4 to a group and groups arranged by ability etc.

Hi - I would be interested (provided there was an extreme novice clinic - have the jumping jitters that I'm SLOWLY getting over) and am sure that a friend at my yard who does novice eventing would be VERY interested. We are based very near Summerhouse so location sounds perfect!

Sorry to divert from your original question, but what is he like as a trainer? I am thinking of going to his clinic at Stockland Lovell but would love to know what his style is. Is he better for show jumping or x country?

Never had him XC, only flat and SJ. He is brilliant at both of those so cannot imagine he would not be super for XC too. Put it this way, in the space of 4 lessons I went from being unhappily jumping PN height SJ to confidently doing a BSJA 1.10 open class - I cannot rate him highly enough. I am more than a little peeved that all the stuff at SLM is on a flipping weekday....not so great when you work and summer is the busiest time of year...I really wanted to go to one of those SLM clinics too, will have to see if I can wangle a day off.

Thanks, I think I will probably. Shame you can't make SLM, I am lucky as the clinic is in my easter holidays from uni. It such a great course, particularly for horses just starting off as mine is - i just wish i was closer than 2 hrs away!
