They've just offered to amputate the leg or pts. They've gone for amputation poor thing

I have to say that if he was mine I'd go for the amputation too.
He had youth on his side and was obviously a fighter.
Front leg amputation is quite severe isn't it?

Didn't he look well though after he was home?. Yes I think I would have as long as he was not in pain.

He looked fantastic running around the garden didn't he!!
He even had that daft Lab Smile on his face bless him!

i just seen a few mins of it when vet was talking about operation and then he was running on grass at home after op. i would have done the same, dogs can cope great on 3 legs and only being a puppy he wont know any differences. poor wee thing at least he has a chance of life now.

We had a puppy at work quite a few years ago now that had to have leg amputated after getting stuck behind a fridge and nearly amputated it himself! He grew up to almost lab size and never had a problem xx
