I've come across many bird scarers, ones which bang, scarecrows etc...but there's one near Ned's field which I have never seen before and it's horrid!!

It makes a loud beeping sound, which doesn't bother Ned, but it's like those inflatable things you see outside car dealerships. As it beeps, it inflates and deflates and looks awful!!
Ned looks at it while in-hand, but spun when I was riding past and it went off.

Just wondering if anyone else has seen these and if they had problems? Thankfully he's not one for bolting, so he just spun, then stood and snorted while another horse took the lead.
 
Yup, we had one near us. It used to inflate like a large pink pornographic dummy, then sag down again.

Far scarier than a gunshot crop scarer, in my opinion. Think the farmer had to stop using the gun thing he'd used before, as he had positioned it on a public footpath, but the vampire inflatable dummy was deemed ok :D!

Can Ned see it from his field? He'll soon get used to it in that case.
 
That's the one! He can hear it, but not see it. I'm planning on taking him past every time I see it going off when we're near it. He'll get used to it, but it just gave us both such a fright today!! It's horrid.

Eeeek, sounds like a real horse eating monster!!! The bangs are bad enough.......my horse doesn't care but scare the hell out of me. The one he did not like was the bright metal spinners they sometimes use.
