Its even closer to me! Hunting was sposed to be at abbotsbury on saturday but is being moved elsewhere.

I have just moved my hen coop into a stable and closed th top doors - a bit too close to us and we are being advised by DEFRA to keep chickens indoors.

I am a little confused about bird flu. When it was in a turkey unit they slaughtered the lot and paid out lots of compensation. Were they salughter becasue there was a risk of it spreading or was it a way of gettin g rid of them.~

Know it is in the swans they are saying that they expect most to get over it and become naturally immune.

Is it me or is there somthing a bit funny going on here.
