I've got my 17.2 warmblood down to a french link loose ring cyprium bit, he had been in a pelham before, which he hates, its too thick for his mouth, I tried a normal jointed snaffle, again didnt like it

We just got another saddle fitted for him and hes moving much more freely but along with it has come the cheekiness of trying it on. He can pull really hard against the loose ring and I dont feel I have enough there in case he decides to not stop.

Any ideas on what bit I can use that he wont mind and is there if I need it but that isnt too much of a gob full?

double joitned bit, maybe hanging cheek, this bit worked wonders for pip, who had a fat tongue and was said to unrideable in anything other than a gag

Good Luck x

What about a Neue Schule hanging cheek snaffle with a lozenge? Ive used this bit for Katie and she goes very well in it. Katie didnt like a normal Jointed bit but really likes this.
