Ok - some of you may think this is a 'bit' crazy but I have a friend who is training to be an animal communicator. She 'spoke' to one of our horses who told her that he feels as if the bit is pushing his tongue into his throat and he hates it because he feels as if he is choking.
We had been aware that he is not that comfortable in his mouth and have tried a few different bits. Does anyone have any suggestions as to what kind of bit we could try in order to prevent his tongue being pushed back. He is snaffle mouthed and only broken since last Christmas. Bitless isn't really an option.
