Im having to rethink the bit that i use for taz when it comes to schooling at the moment he's in a fulmer snaffle just to help with the steering as he's only 5 he's coming on slowly but he leans alot and trys to run through you when you ask for a downward transition and runs away with you between trot and canter
unforunately the only alternative my instructor could come up with is a double bridle but i feel that until he can carry himself i need another alternative, i have a lesson with my dressage trainer on thursday so will see what he thinks but was wondering if any one on here had any ideas, have had him in a loose ring french link snaffle but he didnt like that at all

Hot Chocolate if you get this far

I read that it applies gentle poll pressure. Good when extra brakes are needed and also will help horse to work on the bit and lower head.
