Bringing my beasty horse back into work after 9 months off due to an operations. I currently ride him in a cheltenham gag and he was hunting a couple of season ago in a 3 ring waterford gag. I need something stronger starting cantering and really struggling to hold the monster. He hates anything with a curb chain.. A friend has surggested a tom thumb will this be stronger ? any other surgestions?
