Bit advise

My horse has recently started putting his tongue over the bit and I'm wondering if anyone has advise on what to do? He's in a Pelham.

If he absolutely needs to go in a pelham, then try and get a ported one to try?

Is it at any particular times when he is working? Upwards or downwards transitions? On one rein?
