Hi all 
I always used to ride my horse in a hanging cheek snaffle for everything, but as he got fitter and stronger I did find he had less respect for the bit in certain exciting situations! So after debating what to try we tried a Waterford Loose ring snaffle to see if he respected that more. I am gentle with my hands anyway but he went the other way... he backs off the mouthpiece which is not what I wanted at all.
Any recommendations what to try would be really apprecaited please, it would be only for certain situations such as cross country, hunting etc, I dont want anything harsh, just something slightly different that makes him listen a bit more??
