Bit/bridle change and worried about reactions

I previously rode my horse in a myler combination bit, i loved it, he loved it, he was happy and content and confident in it, it enabled me to ride with out having to hang off his mouth and ride with a nice light contact be it out hacking or round a cross country course
It belonged to the yard owner so when i moved i had to buy a new bridle, hadnt done much riding at all from then up until now but am now missing the old bit and wanting to buy another one

The only thing is i am worried as to what the other liveries will say/think
I also have a man that helps me out with the horse on certain days turning out etc and takes me to shows and that, i no for a fact he will have something to say about it but i really want to buy another one

I know hes comfortable in it and goes well

What should i do~?

Why on earth would you worry about what others may think or say? At the end of the day its none of their business what you do with your horse.

If your horse goes well in that bit and you are happy with it, thats all that matters. I would say go and get yourself one!
