Having read through all the posts regarding these things, my question is: would these make it easier on my aged and arthritic shoulders when my mare tries to eat the trees when we hack out? Might it be less effortful to pull her off? She is very determined and the least distraction sees her attempting to stuff anything remotely leafy down her neck. She's a bombproof girl on the road but my arms are suffering! In general, I am against causing discomfort as a learning aid, so would hope this is only a mild reproof?
