Bit chewed on one side?

Hi,

I have my mare in a hanging cheek snaffle happy mouth with a lozenge, shes been in it for about 5 months now and i've noticed she's chewed it on one side, its not chewed right down but obviously I will have to replace it now, what I am concerned about is why it is only chewed on one side. I have tried her in lots of different bits and she seems quite happy in this one, her teeth were done 5 months ago and she is being done again in January.

Any suggestions or experience of this?

How old is your horse? Mine used to do this as a youngster but grew out of it as he became more balanced and training progressed.
