well i've got my pony out of his nasty old dutch gag and into a universal. we've had several rides out and the brakes and steering are in fully working order!!
i'm quite chuffed! he's also letting me put the bit in his mouth much easier now. before, it would take ages to persaude him to open up.
he still chucks his head up when he gets excited though. maybe that would stop if he were in a snaffle. thats the next step!
