Definitely got your timetable to the minute. It's these light mornings you know - we are all up earlier.
His timing was impeccable. His stable had a normal amount of poo in it, and he'd eaten all his haylage, but he'd been out long enough to have a great big bloated grass belly. Perfect time management from the old man.
He's a bit cross that he hasn't been given his morning haylage. He needs to deflate a bit!

I got back from camp with Wig on Sunday so grabbed Arch in for a feed (tied up next to his bucket) while I mucked out the trailer and unpacked the car. He finished his feed, untied himself and just wandered over to hang out with me while I did it all. I think he missed me, bless him - either that or he thought there'd be food on offer there.

My Louis can open most things I have one of those gates in my small field that goes out onto bridleway and his opened it so it has to have a clip on it.

I've even seen him having a try with the big field gate you can hear him messing with the bit you flick back to release the gate.

My last Donkey could open those gates.

The only thing he did not open was a chain fastened together with a screwlock carabina. I think that if he had lived longer then he would have worked that fastener too.
