I have a 4yr Welsh sec A Youngster who is teething. I bought him a flexible, straight bar happy mouth snaffle. He chewed the bit and now the tough plastic has all come up and is stick out of the mouth piece. He slightly has cut himself twice on it now and I can't continue schooling him until I get a new bit. So, can anyone recomend a bit? It would have to be a straight bar and I have heared Full Cheeks are good. Any suggestions? Thanks in advance :o

NS team up bit, not a straight bar but heard they great for baby's , I just bought my 4 year old one and he seems to like it.

I really like the happy mouth bits, however that is the downside of them.

I put the youngsters in full cheek bits usually with a lozenge, with a nice thin mouthpiece. Or if you aren't a fan of full cheeks, a hanging cheek, just think it keeps the bit stable in the mouth.
