Bit for my horse

I need some help please if possible!
I have a 10 year old Tb who is an absolute gentleman in every way possible. He isn’t strong in any way but I have a small problem
1 He leans his head sideways and trying to open his mouth & avoid contact.
2 He sometimes rushes his fences and gets to close as he is losing concentration doing the above mentioned.
I’m after trying a loose ring happy mouth, egg Butt snaffle, loose ring snaffle, happy tounge loose ring bomber, myler combination bit, Dutch gag, straight bar happy mouth.
His teeth have been professionally done and no issue there.
Could someone please recommend a bit that I could use to try get him to take up contact please

Sounds like he’s never accepting the bit - more sitting behind it... has he raced?

Yes he has raced. And your correct he never accepts it but still a very easy ride. Any suggestions on what I could try because I’m out of ideas

Something like a ns team up but you need to teach him to take the Co tact further... I think I’d try a new instructor before I tried a new bit tbh

You could try getting someone out with a selection of bits such as

It might also be worth having his teeth looked again
Also have you tried a Micklem bridle?
