Im looking for suggestions/help with finding a suitable bit for one of my horses for showjumping. Firstly, teeth and back have been checked (so no problems there) Quick back ground, 6 years old, jumping BN. Doesnt respond well to poll pressure, currently ridden in a rubber pelham, which is just about fine on the flat, but i cant hold him in together when jumping (he just runs on and i cant hold get him back)

tried a range of bits, have found he goes amazingly in a german hackamore (with sheepskin nose band) and then a loose ring snaffle as well. Both on seperate reins , i ride mainly of the snaffle , then have a very light contact on the hackamore. I ideally want to try and find something else that will give me the same result, but with out having to have x2 reins , x2 different bits etc, and just generally would like something that doesnt look so bad. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

:)
