bit help im confused!

i have my boy in a french snaffle and hes still strong previous owner used dr bristol to jump him so saggested i try that they look same to me so what diffrence???

The flat link in the middle of the Dr Bristol is angled so as to act on the tongue. For that reason it is more severe than the french link.

Jemima is absolutely right. The Dr Bristol may look similar to a french link but it really is much more severe!

Ahh ok ill try that then im used to bitless or pelhams never had a snaffle mouth horse
