Bit of a daft question about Pikeur breeches etc

How do you pronounce Pikeur? Do you say Pie-ker or Pick-er? Or something else?

Phew - I've been saying peek-err so fairly close then!

Though it's a German company, I go with the French pronunciation, which I'm having trouble transliterating into English, since the vowel of the second syllable doesn't really have an English equivalent. Going to take a stab at IPA, with emphasis on the second syllable: [pɪ kœr].
