Bit of a moan about judging at events

She came into the fence on about 5 strides of canter the second the bell was rung, I am not the only one who noticed the anomaly in the score. Shall just put it down to experience this time, hopefully she will never be in this situation again.

If you read back up this post it says that not many others got much time, we saw some have stops and in a slower rhythm going all the way round the ring and still only get 2 or 3 time. That is why I am miffed!

Oh well...I can see why you are miffed!
It can be hard to concentrate for 10 hours and mistakes do happen. I can be sitting in the judges box in the sweltering heat for hours and after the 200th horse it is easy to miss things. Just bad luck when it happens to you I suppose. I would have queried it, as we have to write the time taken in the score sheet. They may have got 'trigger happy' and pressed the stopwatch before ringing the bell..

We let it go this time. After having one down she was never going to be placed well anyway as her dressage, although acceptable is not outstanding. Had a lovely stress free XC with no pressure though.
