Do you feed your horses banana skins?

Occasionally, when i take a packed lunch to the yard and have a banana,
my welsh D mare insists that she should have the skin
I just wondered if anyone else gives banana skin to their horses and how often?
Or if anyone knows of any benefits feeding banana skin has etc.

thank you :)

There is only one horse on our yard that will actually eat a banana, although I didn't actually offer her the skin.

Neither of mine will entertain bananas, they look at them like it's going to kill them :D

my old boy will eat it all but then he has also been known to eat sausage rolls and ham sandwichs so he is quite special!! haha the other 2 on yard only eat the inside and the goats get the skin!

My appaloosa loves banana, but you have to peel it for him. Then he'll eat the peel as well. He also loves grapes.
My tb will eat the peel, but not the banana.
I usually give them some banana 2 or 3 times a week.
Kx

bananas are my horses favourite- she always wants the skin but i never give her it as im not sure how digestible they are. She has however stolen them from me before and its done her no harm! :D

My cob has banana quiet often, usually I give him the one's I won't eat cos I don't like them ripe. He usually doesn't have the skins but the other night he picked the skin out of the wheel barrow and started chewing it, spat most out so I expect he was just trying it to see!!!
