Hi - wondering if anyone can advise where to go to send/take a bit to get a scratch polished out of an alloy mouthpiece? Local goldsmiths, or somewhere else?

Thanks!

Flippin' heck! Didn't know you could do that! Depending on how bad the scratch is, would T-Cut do it? I would have thought that sending it off etc etc would have cost more than a new bit but hey, what do I know lol x

Bit very valuable - gah!

A jewellers would do it but not sure how much they would charge. The problem with using any non-horsey service is the chemicals they use to clean the scratchs could be very horsey unfriendly

I would prefer to keep the scratchs and be 100% sure my horse wasn't going to react badly to some cleaning product.
